New Year – New Statistics

Whoops. I’ve got to the 15th Jan without blogging the latest RunAClub stuff – how did that happen? Are we still in 2016?!

So, I wanted to reflect on some great stats from the last 12 months that make the team feel very happy….

  • Our growth in terms of clubs signing up has grown by 127% in the last year.
  • Our umbrella organisations have grown by 62%
  • The number of clubs actively using the system has grown by 423%
  • The number of sessions run has grown over 1000% (yes really!)
  • And the members and staff on the system has also grown in the hundreds of percentages too
  • We raised revenue, grant and social investment

UK Youth and RunAClub

Grumpy – A Case Study

Grumpy (House of Grumpy Ltd) is a registered children’s charity of over 30 years, with a truly wonderful sense of social purpose; aiming to improve the quality and range of play opportunities available to children and young people.  Based in Manchester, Grumpy Play Resource Centre is open to all trainers, artists, carers, parents, play workers, students, voluntary and non-voluntary groups and schools – everyone and anyone who works with or cares for children and young people.

The 1st of June marks the beginning of Women’s Sport Week, 2015.  Run by the charity Women in Sport, this campaign is an opportunity to celebrate, raise awareness and increase the profile of women’s sport across the UK.

Women in Sport is a truly inspirational organisation that campaigns for the transformation of sport, for the benefit of every woman and girl. Working in collaboration with sports bodies, funders, business and government, they aim to create more opportunities for women in every aspect of sport.

Let’s Celebrate!

The 1st of June marks the beginning of this year’s Volunteers’ Week. Run by NCVO, with support from Volunteer Development Scotland, Volunteer Now and Wales Council for Voluntary Action, this campaign provides a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the invaluable contribution made by millions of volunteers across the UK.
